Prepare the ingredients before making Pasta Blasta in your home. Then, follow these steps below to serve Pasta Blasta for your family or friends.

Ingredients: Pasta Blasta

  • 1 tbsp olive oil, extra virgin
  • 2 cup chopped bacon
  • 1 large onion sliced
  • 2 cup cheese - grated
  • 2 tsp dried or fresh parsley
  • 2 tsp Blasta spices
  • 1 pasta - spaghetti or fusilli or another pasta enough for 4 people could stretch to a couple more with extra pasta
  • Blasta Spices
  • 3 tsp Sea salt - coarsely ground
  • 2 tsp dark soft brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp roasted garlic granules (or 2 teaspoon garlic powder)
  • 1 tbsp dried chilli flakes
  • 2 tsp paprika (powder)
  • 1 tsp coarse ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp yellow mustard powder or 2 teaspoons of yellow mustard seeds (crushed)
  • 2 tsp coriander leaves finely chopped

How to Make Pasta Blasta

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 10 steps you must follow to make Pasta Blasta in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Mix all of the blasta ingredients together and keep in a small jar with a lid on
  • Step 2
  • Bring to boil a large pan of water and cook the pasta as directions whilst the onions and bacon cook. Drain once cooked.
  • Step 3
  • Assemble your ingredients
  • Step 4
  • Heat a large saute pan and add the oil
  • Step 5
  • Soften the onions over a low heat, stir often
  • Step 6
  • Add the bacon and stir until thoroughly cooked through
  • Step 7
  • Once cooked, turn the heat up and allow the bacon & onions to just catch and go a little brown around the edges
  • Step 8
  • Turn heat back down and add the parsley and blasta spices and stir in. Make sure they are evenly distributed
  • Step 9
  • Add the cooked pasta and grated cheese and fully combine whilst still over a low heat.
  • Step 10
  • Serve before the cheese fully melts. Serve with my tear and share dough balls.
