  • 1 dash salt and pepper
  • 1 dash ground nutmeg
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 kg spaghetti or favorite pasta

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 12 steps you must follow to make Pasta caruso in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Dice the ham, and boil water for the spaghetti. Cook the spaghetti
  • Step 2
  • Add 25 grams of unsalted butter in a saucepan at low temperature wait until it melts

  • Add the diced ham in the saucepan and leave until it is cooked
  • Step 4
  • In another deep saucepan add 25 grams of unsalted butter
  • Step 5
  • Add all the heavy cream at low temperature
  • Step 6
  • Add a dash of ground nutmeg, salt and pepper at will
  • Step 7
  • Mix in a cup the milk with the cornstarch stir well
  • Step 8
  • Add the mix to the heavy cream and stir
  • Step 9
  • Add the beef stock cube and disolve it with the heavy cream
  • Step 10
  • Add ham, mushrooms mix everything together (instead of mushrooms you can add peas and also bacon bits)
  • Step 11
  • Add the parmesan cheese slowly and stir everything until it boils
  • Step 12
  • Mix the spaghetti with sauce and stir it well. Now you have a creamy caruso sauce
