Ingredients: Pasta Rigatoni

  • 4 cup rigatoni pasta(uncooked)
  • 1/2 kg ground beef
  • 1 tbsp garlic,minced
  • 1/2 cup bell pepper,chopped
  • 1 can sausage,sliced or cubed
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup tomato paste/sauce
  • 1 can whole tomatoes,peeled
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

How to Make Pasta Rigatoni

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Pasta Rigatoni in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Cook pasta as directed on package and drain. Meanwhile,saute onion and garlic in large nonstick skillet until caramelized.
  • Step 2
  • Add ground beef and cook on medium heat until evenly browned.(reduce oil if necessary
  • Step 3
  • Add 1/2 cup of water,sugar,sausage,bell pepper and tomatoes, cover and cook (15-20 minutes) stirring occasionally.
  • Step 4
  • Add tomato paste or tomato sauce. cover & simmer (5-10 minutes)
  • Step 5
  • Add pasta and parsley. Mix lightly on very low heat. (20-30 seconds.)
  • Step 6
  • Turn the heat off.Serve and top with cheese
