  • 2 portions Pasta
  • 10 grams Butter
  • 1 Soup stock cube
  • 2 tsp Grated cheese
  • 1 Black pepper
  • 100 ml Milk
  • 100 ml Heavy cream
  • 3 to 4 slices Bacon
  • 1 handful Shimeji mushrooms

How to Make Pasta with Bacon, Shimeji Mushrooms and Cream Sauce

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Pasta with Bacon, Shimeji Mushrooms and Cream Sauce in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Add salt to a decent amount of hot water and cook the pasta. Remove the hard stem from the shimeji mushrooms and tear apart. Slice the bacon into 1cm strips.
  • Step 2
  • Add butter to a pan, and sauté the bacon and mushroom. Season with black pepper.
  • Step 3
  • When it's cooked, add 1/2 ladle of cooking water from the pasta. Break up and add a soup stock cube.
  • Step 4
  • Turn the heat down, and add milk and cream. When the edges start to bubble, add the cheese.
  • Step 5
  • Taste as you add black pepper. When you're satisfied with the taste, turn the heat off. Mix with cooked pasta and voila!
  • Step 6
  • Add sprinkles of coarsely ground pepper or drizzle on olive oil if you'd like!
