  • 1 lb ground beef, adobo with pepper seasoning, 1 can of tomato sauce, 1pk sazon (optional), tortillas, olives, oil

How to Make Pastelillos

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Pastelillos in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Season the ground beef with adobo seasoning and 1pack of sazon. Sazon gives the meat more color, so it won't make a difference if you want to use it or not taste wise.
  • Step 2
  • Cook ground beef until brown and empty out the grease from the pan
  • Step 3
  • Once grease is taken out, put ground beef back in pan and mix with tomato sauce and olives until all blended together
  • Step 4
  • Lay out tortillas and put ground beef in 1/2 of it. Do not put too much because the tort will open while cooking :-\
  • Step 5
  • Fold over the tortilla and with a fork press down really hard along the sides. Make sure there's no opening, so it won't open while cooking.
  • Step 6
  • Fry on high heat and keep flipping over until both sides golden brown.
  • Step 7
  • If you want to bake it cook for 20min at 400°
