  • 2 cup self- rising flour
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 stick butter (softened)
  • 1 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 2 large cans peaches

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 8 steps you must follow to make Peach cobbler in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Lightly butter a 9x13 pan or pyrex dish, set aside. About 1 tablespoon will do.
  • Step 2
  • Mix flour, buttermilk and sugar together. Save 1 tbls sugar for last step.
  • Step 3
  • Pour batter into pan
  • Step 4
  • Pour peaches and juice down center of batter.
  • Step 5
  • Cut butter into slices or pieces and drop all over the top of batter and peaches.
  • Step 6
  • Sprinkle remaining sugar over top. About 1 tablespoon
  • Step 7
  • Bake at 300° for 1 hour.
  • Step 8
  • Place under broiler to brown to your liking.
