  • 3 Peach
  • 400 ml Water
  • 100 grams Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice

How to Make Peach Compote

    Step 1
  • Wash peaches well under running water to remove their fuzz.
  • Step 2
  • Make a cut along the line of the peach. Twist to open. Scoop out the pit with a spoon.

  • Simmer water, sugar lemon juice and peach, cut in half (with skin) in a pan.
  • Step 4
  • Remove scum and simmer for about 10 minutes, flipping the peach occasionally (until soft enough to poke through with a chopstick easily).
  • Step 5
  • Cool it down a bit, and peel the skin. You can remove the entire skin easily. Let rest in the refrigerator.
  • Step 6
  • Chill and serve with ice cream.
  • Step 7
