  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 large onion (diced)
  • 2 large celery stalks (diced)
  • 1 Red bell pepper (diced)
  • 3 clove garlic (finely minced)
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 8 crimini mushrooms (sliced)
  • 2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 1/2 tbsp dried Italian seasoning
  • 1 Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 bag of your favorite pasta

How to Make Penne with Rosé Meat Sauce

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Penne with Rosé Meat Sauce in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Brown ground beef in a saucepan and drain into a plate lined with paper towel and set aside.
  • Step 2
  • In a large saucepan, heat olive oil and sauté onions, celery and bell peppers until soft. Then add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds and add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Step 3
  • Add tomato paste and stir until combined. Then add 2 cans of crushed tomatoes and bring to a simmer for 10 minutes (If you want a chunky sauce, go to next step. If you want a smoother sauce, immersion the sauce.)
  • Step 4
  • Add in ground beef, mushrooms and Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer for another 10 minutes.
  • Step 5
  • Add in 2 cups of heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Salt and pepper to taste.
  • Step 6
  • To finish, add chopped parsley and 1/2 cup of Grana Padano grated parmesan Italian cheese.
  • Step 7
  • Toss and serve with your favorite pasta. Add more grated parmesan to garnish and enjoy!
