Ingredients: Pepper Chicken

  • 2 Chicken breats, cut in strips
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 medium onion, cut in chunks
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 large pepper, cut into strips
  • 1 quart whole tomatoes
  • 4 tbsp cornstarch
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 5 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 Cooked Rice

How to Make Pepper Chicken

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Pepper Chicken in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Cook chicken until browned
  • Step 2
  • Mix water, onion, garlic powder and ginger with the cooked chicken. Heat to boil, reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 5-15 min
  • Step 3
  • Add the pepper strips during the last 5 min of simmer
  • Step 4
  • Add whole tomatoes and cook until heated through
  • Step 5
  • Blend cornstarch, sugar and soy sauce in a separate bowl and stir into meat mixture. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils. Boil and stir for 1 min
  • Step 6
  • Serve over cooked rice
