Prepare the ingredients before making PERUVIAN ALFAJORES in your home. Then, follow these steps below to serve PERUVIAN ALFAJORES for your family or friends.


  • 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 8 tbsp powder sugar
  • 250 grams salted butter
  • 250 grams Manjarblanco (sweet milk)


If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make PERUVIAN ALFAJORES in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Stiff the flour, cornstarch and powder sugar.
  • Step 2
  • Add the butter at room temperature (very important) mix very weel with two forks or the tool to cut dough until the mix looks like oats, now use your hands and put all together until is smooth and no sticki in your hands.
  • Step 3
  • Put the ball of the dough in a plastic bag in the fridge for 20 minutes.
  • Step 4
  • After the 20 minutes take of the dough in portions put on the table and use roll pin , the thickness has to be 1/2 inches and cut circles 2 inches.
  • Step 5
  • Put in a sheet and bring to bake 350°F for 20 minutes has to be cook but no dark.
  • Step 6
  • Take two cookies and spreed between the sweet milk, with the little strener spread powder sugar.
