  • 1/4 cup crushed cashews
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds
  • 1/2 cup soft butter
  • filling II
  • 1/2 cup coarse grain sugar
  • 1/4 cup ground cinnamon
  • crust
  • 1 lb Phyllo dough
  • 1 cup melted butter
  • simple syrup
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp warm water

How to Make Phyllo dessert

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 8 steps you must follow to make Phyllo dessert in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven 350° Fahrenheit
  • Step 2
  • Take a sheet of phyllo dough and lay flat on a quarter sheet cake pan line it with parchment paper brush cover whole sheet with butter do this for seven sheets
  • Step 3
  • Take all the filling ingredients mix together I used raw nuts so I crushed some but toasted all
  • Step 4
  • On the seventh sheet spread the filling
  • Step 5
  • Mix the filling II cinnamon and sugar
  • Step 6
  • Add 7 more sheets buttering between each sheet add filling II
  • Step 7
  • Add remaining sheets buttering between each layer last sheet take simple syrup mix well rush on top sheet very good
  • Step 8
  • Bake 20-25 minutes let rest 12 minutes if you can
