  • 120 g Butter
  • 120 g Sugar
  • 120 g Plain flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 2 Eggs
  • 3 tbsp Milk

How to Make Plain Cupcakes

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 9 steps you must follow to make Plain Cupcakes in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 180 ℃. Keep butter at room temperature.
  • Step 2
  • Mix butter with whisk until it become smooth. (If butter is too hard, you can microwave with LOW power for 30 seconds. But never melt it!)
  • Step 3
  • Add sugar and mix well until light and fluffy.
  • Step 4
  • Add egg one by one and mix well.
  • Step 5
  • Shift flour and baking powder to the bowl and mix with spatula, then add milk and mix well.
  • Step 6
  • Use two table spoon to place dough in the cups. (You don't need to flatten it as it melt and be flat by itself in the oven.)
  • Step 7
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes in 180 ℃ oven.
  • Step 8
  • Remove the baked cupcakes from oven and leave to cool.
  • Step 9
  • Add icing and ready to serve!
