  • 1 Green Plaintain
  • 1 medium Potato
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp ginger paste
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • salt
  • Refined oil
  • 1/2 cup Semolina (Sooji)
  • 1 bunch chopped corainder leaves
  • 1 tsp gram flour

How to Make Plaintain Cutlet

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Plaintain Cutlet in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Boil the potato and plaintain in water.
  • Step 2
  • Peel the skins off potato and plaintain.Then mash them properly in a bowl.Add gram flour,chopped onions,cumin powder,ginger paste,salt,corainder leaves & chilli powder to the bowl and mix them properly.
  • Step 3
  • Make small small roll-type balls from the mixture.On a plate spread semolina all over.Then roll the balls on it so that all of its sides are covered in semolina.
  • Step 4
  • Heat oil in pan.Fry the rolls one by one in the oil till turned brown.
  • Step 5
  • Serve hot with chilli sauce & tomato ketchup.
