  • 1 ready to use polenta
  • 1 box baby bella mushroom
  • 1 each cheese of choice
  • 2 tbsp oil. i use coconut oil
  • 1 dash seasoning of choice. use garlic,onion,salt,pepper

How to Make Polenta with mushroom and cheese

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 11 steps you must follow to make Polenta with mushroom and cheese in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Slice polenta into 1/4 in slices
  • Step 2
  • Slice cheese
  • Step 3
  • Slice mushrooms how you want them. I sliced mine small because my 12 month old Loves these. :)
  • Step 4
  • Heat skillet with a little oil
  • Step 5
  • Add mushroom and cook until soft. On medium heat.
  • Step 6
  • In another skillet, heat oil on med/high. Fry polenta slices until crunchy.
  • Step 7
  • Once crunchy, remove polenta and place on paper towel to drain.
  • Step 8
  • Place desired amount of cheese on each polenta pieces.
  • Step 9
  • Top with hot sauteed mushrooms
  • Step 10
  • Add some condiment. I used homemade ketchup. Salsa sounds great too!
  • Step 11
