  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • Pineapple sauce
  • 1 & 1/2 cup Pineapple juice
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp Sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp Powdered ginger
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp Onion powder
  • 2 tbsp Cornstarch

How to Make Polynesian Ribs

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Polynesian Ribs in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Mix dry rub ingredients and season ribs, wrapped in plastic and refrigerate overnight.
  • Step 2
  • Set up your grill for Indirect Heat with a drip pan in the middle.
  • Step 3
  • Place ribs on the grill over the drip pan and cook for 1 & 1/2 to 2 hours (at about 300F°).
  • Step 4
  • Mix sauce ingredients bring to a gentle boil and simmer for several minutes.
  • Step 5
  • When an inch or two of the bone is exposed of the ribs begin to glazed with the sauce and continue cooking.
  • Step 6
  • After about 10 to 15 minutes glazed with the sauce again. (glazed with sauce 2 or 3 additional times and continue cooking)
  • Step 7
  • Allowed to rest about 10 to 15 minutes before carving and serving.
