  • 6 Jalapenos ribbed, seeded and finely diced. (more or less depending on how hot you want it)
  • 8 oz package of cream cheese softened.
  • 1 large container of sour cream. (16 oz)
  • 2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese.
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese. (1/4 cup set aside for topping)
  • 3/4 cup panko bread crumbs. (topping)
  • 2 slice cooked and crumbled bacon. (topping)
  • 3 tbsp melted butter (topping)

How to Make Popper Dip (my version)

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Popper Dip (my version) in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Mix the first 5 ingredients.(leaving out 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese)
  • Step 2
  • Place in an oven safe pan.( I use a round one, about the size of a pie dish)
  • Step 3
  • Mix the bread crumbs, bacon, parmesan cheese, and melted butter.
  • Step 4
  • Sprinkle over the cheese mixture.
  • Step 5
  • Bake at 350° until melty and lightly browned. (about 20 min)
  • Step 6
  • Serve warm with your choice of crackers or chips. (I like it with Ritz or Frito scoops. Yum!)
