  • 4 lb Boneless chuck roast
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 clove garlic
  • 1 tsp Salt

    Step 1
  • preheat oven to 325°F
  • Step 2
  • Heat dutch oven on top of stove over medium high heat
  • Step 3
  • Sear all sides of meat in oil
  • Step 4
  • remove meat from pan
  • Step 5
  • arrange onion and garlic in bottom of pan and sprinkle with salt and pepper
  • Step 6
  • return meat to pan and cover
  • Step 7
  • Cook in oven for 30 minutes at 325
  • Step 8
  • reduce heat to 300 and cook for 1 and a half hours
  • Step 9
  • remove roast and let rest for 10 to 15 minutes
