Ingredients: Potato & Bacon Quiche

  • 5 slice Bacon
  • 3 large Potatoes
  • 5 Eggs
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp pepper
  • 1/4 cup Water or Milk
  • 1 tsp Cayenne or Paprika
  • 1 cup Cheese (I used Cheddar)

How to Make Potato & Bacon Quiche

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 11 steps you must follow to make Potato & Bacon Quiche in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Slice potatoes, then place in cold bowl of water for 10mins.
  • Step 2
  • Cut up uncooked bacon in small pieces (not too small like Bacon bits, lol)
  • Step 3
  • Chop up potatoes in small cubes. (I cut them in half, then in half again).
  • Step 4
  • In a large skillet, place bacon & potatoes. Turn to Medium High. The grease from the bacon should make the potatoes flavorful. If you need more liquid, you can add butter.
  • Step 5
  • Add just ONE teaspoon of each Salt, Pepper & (If you want) Cayenne/Paprika to the skillet. Mix in with potatoes & bacon. Cook for 15mins or until the potatoes are lightly golden.
  • Step 6
  • In the mean time, pre-heat oven to 350°. Use a muffin pan, spray Pam (or any type of spray or melted butter for Non-Stick).
  • Step 7
  • Once the potatoes & bacon are cooked (use a knife to poke into the potatoes), place on a plate with paper towels to allow the access grease to come off & cool.
  • Step 8
  • Mix up your eggs, 1/4 cup of water, and the other 1 teaspoon of salt, pepper, cayenne/Paprika in a bowl.
  • Step 9
  • In the muffin pan, place a few piece of GRADUATED cheese, a tiny spoonful of bacon & potatoes. Pour the egg mix on top, it should be ALMOST full to the top. Place extra cheese on top if you would like.
  • Step 10
  • Place muffin pan in 350° oven for about 15mins. Use a knife to poke into the quiche to make sure it's fully done. (If nothing is on the knife when you pull out, it's done).
  • Step 11
  • Let cool for 10mins before eating. Serve with any sauce or side! Enjoy :)
