  • 3 medium New potatoes
  • 1/2 Well-ripened avocado
  • 1/2 Onion
  • 2 slice Bacon, ham, etc.
  • 1 Salt, pepper
  • 1 Grated mozzarella cheese
  • 150 ml Soy milk
  • 1 small amount Olive oil (for stir-frying)

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Potato, Avocado & Soy Milk Gratin in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Wash the new potatoes, and boil with the skins. Cut the onion into 5 mm thick slices, and cut the bacon (or ham) into 1 cm strips.
  • Step 2
  • Peel the avocado and remove the pit. Cut into bite-sized pieces (don't worry if they crumble slightly).
  • Step 3
  • Heat some olive oil in a saucepan and stir-fry the onion, then add the bacon and continue to cook.
  • Step 4
  • When the onion and bacon have cooked through, add the avocado. Gradually add the soy milk, breaking up the avocado with a wooden spatula as you go.
  • Step 5
  • Season with salt and pepper. When the mixture comes to a boil, turn off the heat.
  • Step 6
  • Cut the boiled new potatoes into 5 mm thick slices. Line the bottom of a gratin dish with the sliced potatoes, and pour over the Step 5 sauce.
  • Step 7
  • Sprinkle some grated cheese on top and grill until the cheese is golden brown.
