  • 4 lb potatoes
  • 1 cup plain yogurt, I used greek
  • 15 oz can of evaporated milk
  • 2 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • water, to boil potatoes.
  • 1 1/2 tbsp margarine
  • 1/2 lb bacon

How to Make Potato casserole

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Potato casserole in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 350° Fahrenheit
  • Step 2
  • Wash the potatoes, and put into a pot of water bring to boil. Boil to fork tender.
  • Step 3
  • Let the potatoes cool, and finish steaming with the skin on. After the cool remove the skins.
  • Step 4
  • Fry bacon till crisp set on paper towels to absorb excessive oil
  • Step 5
  • You can either rice the potatoes ot grate them. After your done, gently fold your ingredients except the parmesan cheese.
  • Step 6
  • Take a pan and put margarine spreading it on the sides and bottom. Put potato mixture into the pan.
  • Step 7
  • Crumble the bacon. Sprinkle parmesan cheese, and bacon crumbles on top. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes. Let sit 10 minutes.
