  • 4 eggs
  • 2 potatoes
  • 3 sausages (I used chicken)
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • salt
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tbsp ground black pepper
  • water
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 clove garlic

How to Make Potato Sausage Egg Bake

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 9 steps you must follow to make Potato Sausage Egg Bake in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • In a pan, heat up the olive oil. Peel and dice the potatoes into cubes. Finely chop garlic. Add these to the oil. Add salt, chili powder and black pepper. Stir.
  • Step 2
  • Add a small amount of water and stir. Put a lid on and cook till water is gone and potatoes are cooked through.
  • Step 3
  • Dice the sausage the same way you diced the potatoes. Small cubes. Add it to the pan with the potatoes. Add in a tiny splash of water.
  • Step 4
  • Cook till sausages and potatoes take on a brown colour and become a bit crispy.
  • Step 5
  • In another bowl, whisk the eggs, a pinch of salt, some black pepper. Add in some spices if you wish to.
  • Step 6
  • In a baking tray (I used silicone) grease it and lay the potato mixture on it, spreading it out.
  • Step 7
  • Pour the egg mixture over the potatoes. Sprinkle breadcrumbs and cheese on top.
  • Step 8
  • Bake in a preheated oven, at 190°F Celsius till eggs are cooked and cheese is melted and slightly browned. I cooked it for 30 mins.
  • Step 9
  • Cut and enjoy!!
