  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp butter (not margrine)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • Combine sugar and milk in sauce pan
  • Step 2
  • Place on medium heat, stir until begins to boil. Then stir occasionally.....Do Not Scrape Sides! Will set up.
  • Step 3
  • Heat to 200°F....almost soft ball stage.
  • Step 4
  • Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla. Do Not Stir Yet!
  • Step 5
  • When butter is melted completely, beat vigorously until glossy
  • Step 6
  • Pour over cake or other desserts.
  • Step 7
  • This is enough to glaze 1 8inch bundt cake.
  • Step 8
  • It will harden slightly when cooled.
  • Step 9
  • Serve and enjoy
