  • dough
  • 250 ml water
  • 80 grams butter
  • 150 grams plain flour
  • 3 eggs
  • filling
  • 435 ml milk
  • 1 vanilla bean
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 70 grams granulated sugar
  • 50 grams plain flour
  • topping
  • 250 grams dark chocolate
  • 100 grams butter
  • 100 ml sweet cream

How to Make Profiteroles

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Profiteroles in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Bring the water to the boil. Add butter.
  • Step 2
  • Add flour. Stir it overt medium heat for 2min. Cool it down for 5min.
  • Step 3
  • Gradually add lightly whished egg. One at a time. Mix until dough is thick and glossy.
  • Step 4
  • Squeeze the dough in full circles. Bake them for 35min on 200°C or until golden and puffed.
  • Step 5
  • For the filling, warm milk, add vanilla, egg yolks, sugar and flour. Mix for 5min or until mixture thickens. Cover the pan with plastic wrap and cool down the filling.
  • Step 6
  • Fill the profiteroles with filling from the bottom-up. Cover them with chocolate topping.
