  • 1 1/2 packs (9 oz) puff corn
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white corn syrup
  • 2 stick butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp Vanilla

How to Make Puffed Caramel Corn

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Puffed Caramel Corn in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 250°F.
  • Step 2
  • Put 1 1/2 bag of puffcorn in aluminum pan
  • Step 3
  • Combine brown sugar, corn syrup, butter and salt in a 2 quart minimum saucepan, bring to boil while stirring.
  • Step 4
  • Reduce heat and boil while stirring for 5 minutes
  • Step 5
  • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and soda. Pour over corn and mix in.
  • Step 6
  • Bake in 250°F oven for 1 hour stirring every 15 minutes.
