  • 1/3 cup butter (melted)
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 1/4 cup old fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup wheat flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/3 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup raw sunflower seeds
  • 1 tbsp flax seed
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

How to Make Raisin Seed Granola Bars

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 9 steps you must follow to make Raisin Seed Granola Bars in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 325.
  • Step 2
  • Combine butter and honey in a medium mixing bowl.
  • Step 3
  • Stir remaining ingredients in to the butter mixture until well combined.
  • Step 4
  • Pour into a greased 8" pan and press in to pan firmly.
  • Step 5
  • Bake for 20 minutes (edges will start to brown).
  • Step 6
  • Remove from oven and press firmly in to pan again (this helps them to not crumble when removing from pan).
  • Step 7
  • Cool for 10 minutes then cut into 8 bars. Leave in pan until completely cooled.
  • Step 8
  • Removed carefully with spatula to prevent crumbling.
  • Step 9
  • I wrap mine individually and store in the refrigerator (this helps them to firm up more and stay fresh longer).
