  • 3 lb Idaho potatoes; peeled & medium dice
  • 2 heads garlic; roasted
  • 2 packets dried ranch seasoning
  • 1 T dried lemon peel
  • 3 stick unsalted butter; cubed
  • 1/3 C sour cream
  • 1/3 C heavy cream
  • 1/4 C chives; minced
  • 1 large pinch kosher salt & peppercorn melange

How to Make Ranch & Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Ranch & Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • In a large saucepot, cover potatoes with cold, salted water. Boil until potatoes are easily pierced with a paring knife. Drain. Return to pot. Crank up the heat and shake pot for 30 seconds to remove excess moisture.

  • Add ranch seasoning, roasted garlic, heavy cream, butter, sour cream, lemon peel seasoning, salt, and pepper.
