  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 1 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tsp Fresh ginger, minced
  • 1 tsp Coconut oil
  • 1 1/2 cup parboiled rice
  • 1 can Coconut milk (400ml)

    Step 1
  • In a pot, heat coconut oil and add onion and garlic.
  • Step 2
  • Once the onion is translucent, add the ginger and rice. Mix together to infuse the rice.

  • Add the coconut milk and stir, then add a can of water (using the coconut milk tin)
  • Step 4
  • Mix and bring to boil, reduce heat to medium low, place lid on pot and cook 12 min. *stirring occasionally*

  • Stir after 12 min, then leave the lid slightly off the pot and turn to low heat and cook another 12 min. *stirring occasionally*
