  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp parsley flakes
  • 1 couple dashes tabasco hot sauce
  • 1/2 tsp sage
  • 1 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 3 steps you must follow to make Ray's Southern Sausage & Gravy in your home by yourself.

  • add milk & cream to a pot scald the milk set aside.
  • Step 2
  • start by browning your sausage with onion flakes. cook down remove from pan set aside. leave atleast 2tbspn of fat in there.
  • Step 3
  • now to pot add flour making a rue, add your scalded milk & all seasonings, add sausage back in stir till thickened. serve over biscuits.
