  • 100 ml Milk or water
  • 3 to 4 teaspoons Sugar

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Refreshing Indian Lassi in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Prepare all the ingredients. If you are using mango, like I am here, remove the stone and cut into bite-sized pieces.
  • Step 2
  • Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend for about 2 minutes. The sweetness of fruit varies, so if it isn't sweet enough, add some sugar.
  • Step 3
  • Pour in glasses over ice, and it's done. You can keep the lassi in the refrigerator for a day or so. If you have some mint leaves use as garnish to make it look nicer.
  • Step 4
  • If you get some not so good mangoes, turn it into a purée as follows and make the lassi from that.
  • Step 5
  • Purée the mango in a food processor until smooth. Add 2 tablespoons of sugar.
  • Step 6
  • Put the purée in a small pan and bring to a boil. Simmer over low heat for 1 to 2 minutes, taking care not to let it burn on the bottom. Cool before using in Step 2.
