Ingredients: Remixed Baked Beans

  • 1 can baked beans
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 tsp crushed garlic. 2 cloves apprx (u can grate it with the fine grater its faster)
  • 1/2 green pepper
  • 1 green chilli split. More if you want.
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 1 salt
  • 1 small bunch of coriander
  • 1 tomato

How to Make Remixed Baked Beans

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 8 steps you must follow to make Remixed Baked Beans in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Chop all your ingredients and open the can of baked beans.
  • Step 2
  • Add 2 Tb of olive oil in a pan. Add your chopped onion sauté till almost golden. When the edges of the onions turn brown
  • Step 3
  • Add the garlic stirr till fragrant
  • Step 4
  • Add the chopped tomatoes and a pinch of salt to help them break down faster. Make sure the tomatoes completely break down and most of the water evaporates and oil comes out the sides. Thats how u know they are ready.
  • Step 5
  • If there isn't enough oil u will need to add more so the tomatoes cook well u can drain it off before you add the baked beans.
  • Step 6
  • Next add the baked beans and whole split chilli and cook it down until its no longer runny then add more water to make it the consistency u like.
  • Step 7
  • Add your coriander, peppers, black pepper, lemon juice if you want and adjust salt. Remove the split chill its job was to impart aroma nothing more. It doesn't add heat. U can even add more if u want.
  • Step 8
  • U can store this in the fridge for 1 week and eat it for breakfast. Just make enuff. We make 4 to 5 cans at a go.
