Ingredients: Rice Pudding

  • 2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup lomg- grain rice
  • 1 quart milk
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 ground cinnamon

How to Make Rice Pudding

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 9 steps you must follow to make Rice Pudding in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Bring water to a boil and rice.
  • Step 2
  • Simmer, covered, 15 to 20 min
  • Step 3
  • Add milk ( be careful does not boil over) and continue to cook , stirring often ,for @ 30 min,or until rice is soft and mixture is thick.
  • Step 4
  • Beat egg folks and sugar until thick and pale on color.
  • Step 5
  • Gradually stir in rice mixture, mix well, and return to saucepan
  • Step 6
  • Add salt cook over low heat for 3 min, stirring constantly to prevent curdling.
  • Step 7
  • Before pouring into pudding dishes add vanilla
  • Step 8
  • Pour into pudding dishes and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  • Step 9
  • Serve warm, or cool to room temperature and then refrigerate; serve cold
