  • 1 tsp ★Sugar
  • 1 tbsp ★ Mirin
  • 3 tbsp Mayonnaise

How to Make Rich Stir-Fried and Simmered Potatoes

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Rich Stir-Fried and Simmered Potatoes in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Cut the potatoes into bite-sized pieces and shave off the sharp edges. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat, and stir-fry the potatoes.
  • Step 2
  • Add enough water to cover the potatoes. Turn the heat up to high and cover the pan with a lid. When it comes to a boil, lower the heat back to medium and simmer for about 10 minutes, until a skewer goes through the potatoes easily. Drain off the water.
  • Step 3
  • Combine the ingredients marked ★ and add to the pan. Simmer and reduce while shaking the pan.
  • Step 4
  • The sauce will quickly reduce down to almost nothing right away. Turn the heat down to low and add the mayonnaise. Turn off the heat and mix well, and it's done.
  • Step 5
  • This is easier to cook if you use a deep frying pan or a pan.
