  • 4 slice Bacon
  • 1/4 cup Light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Soy sauce
  • 1 Non-stick cooking spray
  • 1 Salt
  • 1 Ground black pepper
  • 1 All-purpose flour
  • 4 tbsp Butter (divided)

  • Cut bacon strips into 3 pieces each and slice onions

  • Arrange liver slices in prepared dish or roasting pan in a single layer (note: if doing 2 pounds of liver stagger second layer, but single layer preferred)
  • Step 9
  • Arrange bacon pieces over liver
  • Step 10
  • Carefully pour onion and bacon grease/butter mixture over liver
  • Step 11
  • Add additional salt and pepper if desired and cover pan/dish with lid or cover tightly with aluminum foil
  • Step 12
  • Bake in center of oven for 45 minutes at 325°F
  • Step 13
  • Remove from oven sprinkle with brown sugar and soy sauce, recover and return to oven fo 15 minutes
  • Step 14
  • Remove from oven and let rest for 5 to 10 minutes
  • Step 15
