  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 medium eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs ( i used crushed RITZ crackers)
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 1/3 cup A-1 steak sauce
  • 1 1/2 cup shredded cheese ( i used sharp cheddar
  • 6 slice bacon

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 9 steps you must follow to make Rita's Bacon Meatloaf in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Step 2
  • Combine ground beef, eggs, ketchup, breadcrumbs, onions and 1 cup of cheese.

  • Mix well.
  • Step 4
  • Form the meat mixture into a loaf shape. Place it in a casserole dish
  • Step 5
  • Sprinkle the remaining half cup of shredded cheese atop the meatloaf.
  • Step 6
  • Drape the bacon over the meatloaf, overlapping slightly. Tuck the ends beneath the loaf.
  • Step 7
  • Pour A-1 sauce over bacon covering the meatloaf.
  • Step 8
  • Bake for approximately 90 minutes at 350°F or until internal temperature reads 160°F.
  • Step 9
  • Allow meatloaf to cool for a bit before slicing.
