  • 1 large Butternut Squash ( about 3 pds.)
  • 3 tbsp butter or good olive oil
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp fresh ground pepper

How to Make Roasted Butternut Squash

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Roasted Butternut Squash in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 400°
  • Step 2
  • Peel and seed Squash and cut into 1 inch chunks. Place Squash on a large non stick sheet pan.
  • Step 3
  • In a small bowl melt butter in microwave about 20-30 seconds.
  • Step 4
  • Add brown sugar to melted butter and blend well.
  • Step 5
  • Pour butter brown sugar mixture over Squash. Give squash a toss so to evenly coat. Salt and pepper and toss again.
  • Step 6
  • Roast squash in the oven for 25-30 minutes turning once in between cooking time.
