  • 2 red bell peppers

  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 150 ml olive and seed oil blend
  • 125 ml red grape vinegar
  • 125 ml lemon juice
  • 100 ml water

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 220°C grill
  • Step 2
  • Brown onion in sauce pan with 25ml olive and seed oil blend
  • Step 3
  • Add tomatoes and simmer for 20 minutes
  • Step 4
  • Roast chillies, red bell peppers and garlic in oven for about 25 minutes or until lightly brown
  • Step 5
  • Peel the peppers
  • Step 6
  • Put everything in a food processor and liquidise until smooth
  • Step 7
  • You can store the sauce in a glass container in the fridge for months
