  • 1 large head garlic
  • 1 sprinkle of sea salt or kosher salt
  • 1 drizzle of olive oil

How to Make Roasted Garlic

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 9 steps you must follow to make Roasted Garlic in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Step 2
  • Cut the top off garlic head by 1/4 ".
  • Step 3
  • Place on aluminum oil square cut side up and drizzle olive oil on top then salt.
  • Step 4
  • Fold foil into little packet, place on cooking tray and bake for 25-35 minutes.
  • Step 5
  • Garlic should be fragrant, golden color and very soft.
  • Step 6
  • I like to do several heads of garlic at a time.
  • Step 7
  • This is great as a spread, for adding to a dish requesting garlic but you want a sweeter, milder flavor, and great to add that extra flavor to salads.
  • Step 8
  • Keep refrigerated in air tight container for up to 3 days.
