Ingredients: Roasted Tomato and Garlic sauce

  • 2 large Tomatoes
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 4 pinch Oregano
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Red Wine

How to Make Roasted Tomato and Garlic sauce

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Roasted Tomato and Garlic sauce in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Place olive oil in bottom of pan. Cut tomatoes in half and place in pan. Put garlic in pan also.
  • Step 2
  • Season tomatoes with salt, pepper, oregano and toss in oven @375 for 20 min. I put it on Broil for 10 min, then back on back for 5.
  • Step 3
  • Remove garlic as soon as it's roasted, before burning but leave tomatoes in.
  • Step 4
  • When finished, add all to blender. Place towel over blender and be careful because it's hot. Blend slowly and completely, then add back to small pan.
  • Step 5
  • Cook on low with wine until wine is cooked off.
  • Step 6
  • Finished product will be thick, add more wine or water if you like it thinner. Doesn't need extra salt.
