  • 1 1/4 lb lean ground beef
  • 3/4 lb bulk italian sausage
  • 1 egg
  • 1 8 oz. jar pizza sauce
  • 1/4 cup italian style bread crumbs
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cup 6 cheese italian shredded cheese blend
  • 2 cup loosely packed fresh spinach leaves

How to Make Rolled Italian Meatloaf

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Rolled Italian Meatloaf in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Step 2
  • In a large bowl, mix ground beef, sausage, egg, 4 oz. of pizza sauce, bread crumbs and pepper.
  • Step 3
  • On aluminum foil, pat mixture to 12x8 inch rectangle. Sprinkle evenly with cheese; gently press into meat. Top with spinach.
  • Step 4
  • Starting at short end, roll up tightly, using foil to start roll and tucking in spinach leaves; seal ends.
  • Step 5
  • Place seam side down in ungreased 12x8 inch glass baking dish.
  • Step 6
  • Bake 1 hour 15 min. Spread remaining pizza sauce over top. Bake 15 min. longer. Let stand 10-15 minutes before serving.
