  • 2 chicken leg quarters
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1/4 large white onion
  • 5 clove garlic
  • 4 bunch rosemary
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 2 potatoes

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 10 steps you must follow to make Rosemary Chicken in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • preheat oven to 350°F
  • Step 2
  • melt butter in a large cast iron skillet set to medium high heat.
  • Step 3
  • chop onion and add to the skillet
  • Step 4
  • after onions are loose, place whole garlic cloves and the leaves of one twig of rosemary and stir around
  • Step 5
  • rub the chicken with the salt
  • Step 6
  • move the onion mixture to one side of the skillet and place chicken into the skillet. cook for about 5 minutes on each side, moving the onion mixture around a bit
  • Step 7
  • arrange the chicken on a bed of the onion mixture. place the entire skillet into the oven.
  • Step 8
  • chop the potatoes and mix them with the onion mixture, taking the skillet out of the oven. place the other trigs of rosemary on top and place the skillet back in the oven
  • Step 9
  • leave it alone for about an hour, periodically checking on it
  • Step 10
  • when chicken has a deep, golden brown skin atop it, remove it from the oven. plate it, it can be served immediately
