  • 1 1/3 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 pinch Hamburger Seasoning, recipe follows
  • 1 pinch Fresh Cracked Black Pepper
  • 1 leaf lettuce
  • 1 slice Swiss Cheese
  • 2 oz chopped Corned Beef
  • 1 oz 1000 island
  • 2 oz Sauerkraut, cold and drained
  • Hamburger Seasoning
  • 1 Lowerys
  • 1 Fresh Ground Black Pepper

How to Make Rueben Burger

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Rueben Burger in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Find or repurpose a burr coffee grinder to use for grinding your own black pepper. Purchase whole pepper corns and pulse to a larger than normal size.
  • Step 2
  • Place burger either in a hot skillet or use an electric griddle, sprinkle burger with Hamburger Seasoning and ground black pepper
  • Step 3
  • Cook burger to Desired temperature, once complete, melt swiss on top of burger
  • Step 4
  • Chop corned beef or used sliced, heat in a skillet or on an electric griddle
  • Step 5
  • Top burger with beef, then 1000 island
  • Step 6
  • Take 2 oz of Kraut with yur fingers and squeeze out excess juice, place on top of 1000....
  • Step 7
  • If you decide to have your Kraut warm, toss corned beef and Kraut together to save time
