  • 16 grams dried yeast
  • 18 grams salt
  • 30 grams sugar
  • 90 grams butter
  • 300 grams water at 14°C
  • 400 grams Rye flour
  • 350 grams bread flour

How to Make Rye bread

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Rye bread in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • pour all ingredients together Into mixer EXCEPT Salt,
  • Step 2
  • Work with slow speed for 4 Minutes / until it turn into a smooth dough. add in Salt let it continue to work for another 6 Minutes Until the temperature of the dough being rised between 25 to 29°C
  • Step 3
  • wrap the dough With plastic flim. let it prove for 30 minutes in room temperature
  • Step 4
  • divide the dough into 3 equal pieces, shape it and let It sit for another 40 minutes.
  • Step 5
  • preheat Oven at 200°C put in the bread let it cook for 30 minutes
