  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 4 fillets salmon
  • 1/4 cup whole grain mustard
  • 1/2 stick unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp terragon, chopped
  • 1 salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Salmon en Croute

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Salmon en Croute in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine butter and terragon, set aside.
  • Step 2
  • Roll out puff pastry, cut into 4 pieces large enough to enclose each fillet.
  • Step 3
  • Season both sides of each fillets with salt and pepper. Spead whole grain mustard on each fillets. Place mustard side down on puff pastry.
  • Step 4
  • Spread terragon butter on each fillet. Fold over dough and enclose fillet. Place seam side down on baking sheet.
  • Step 5
  • Brush with egg wash and bake 20 minutes until golden brown.
