  • 1 knob, grated Ginger
  • 1 enough to coat Katakuriko
  • 1 dash Fresh parsley
  • 1 dash Lemon

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Salmon Zangi (Deep Fried Salmon) in your home by yourself.

  • Filet the salmon. This salmon was 2 kg in total, so I used the lower half of one side.
  • Step 2
  • Mix the soy sauce, sake, mirin, and grated ginger together. Marinate the salmon in the mixture for a while.

  • Coat the marinated salmon with katakuriko.
  • Step 4
  • Let's fry it up! The salmon pieces cook pretty fast. Be careful not to burn yourself.
