    Step 1
  • Pierce the meat on the skin side several times with a skewer. Rub the grated garlic and ginger over both sides of the meat.

  • Heat some olive oil in a frying pan over high heat and put the chicken in skin side down. Fry for 5 minutes until the skin is browned. It will splatter a lot so put a lid on for this part!
  • Step 3

  • Step 4
