  • 1/4 kg squid rings
  • 1 tbsp iodized salt
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 4 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 tbsp ground black pepper
  • 1 clove green onion
  • 1/4 cup cooking oil

How to Make Salt and Pepper Squid

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Salt and Pepper Squid in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Evenly sprinkle iodized salt on squid rings to taste.
  • Step 2
  • On high heat, stir fry squid until cooked on a non stick pan using 1 tsp cooking oil. If you are using a non stick wok, use 2tbsp cooking oil to stir fry vigorously (like chinese style stirfry).
  • Step 3
  • Add onions until transparent. Then add garlic
  • Step 4
  • Dissolve flour into cold water. And pour into the pan.
  • Step 5
  • Heat until water evaporates. Then turn fire to medium heat. Then add grounded black pepper. Mix well.
  • Step 6
  • Pour in the cooking oil and fry.
  • Step 7
  • Mix in green onions and quickly serve.
