  • 2 chicken breasts, cooked and sliced into thin strips
  • 1/4 packages thin spaghetti noodles
  • 3 tbsp canola oil
  • Veggies
  • 4 to 5 carrots, sliced thinly into rounds
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, sliced into thin strips
  • 1 zucchini, sliced into matchsticks or julienned
  • 4 to 5 pieces fresh asparagus, cut into small pieces on a bias
  • 1 cup uncooked kale, roughly chopped
  • 1/2 red onion, sliced into thin strips
  • 5 green onions, sliced thinly
  • Sauce
  • 1/4 cup light soy sauce
  • 5 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 3 tsp garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp seasame oil
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

How to Make Sammie's Chicken and Veggie Lomein

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Sammie's Chicken and Veggie Lomein in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • In a large pot, boil spaghetti noodles until al dente. Drain, rinse and set aside.
  • Step 2
  • In a large skillet or wok, heat canola oil over high heat. Add all veggies except green onions.
  • Step 3
  • Stir fry veggies for about 5 to 6 minutes stirring constantly until veggies are tender but slightly crisp.
  • Step 4
  • Add garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce, ginger, black pepper and red pepper flakes. Stir well to combine then add chicken.
  • Step 5
  • Cook for another 2 to 3 minutes then add spaghetti noodles. Stir fry noodles, chicken and veggies until noodles and chicken absorb the sauce about 3 to 4 minutes more.
  • Step 6
  • At this stage you can more soy sauce, oyster sauce or sesame oil to your liking. Stir in green onions and mix thoroughly. Serve immediately.
