  • 2 packages kielbasa sausage
  • 1 can sauerkraut
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic
  • All purpose seasoning salt
  • 3/4 cup Ketchup
  • 3/4 cup Mayo
  • 3/4 cup Sour cream
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 cups cheese
  • Season to taste !!!
  • 6 potatoes mashed

How to Make Sausage and sauerkraut casserole

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Sausage and sauerkraut casserole in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Boil potatoes till soft. In the mean time cut up sausage in slices and sauté it with 2 tbs olive oil & season with (salt, pepper, garlic, all purpose). Also heat up frozen veggies in a separate pot
  • Step 2
  • Mash potatoes with ketchup, mayo, butter, (pepper & garlic, & sour cream.
  • Step 3
  • Mix sauerkraut and sausage together
  • Step 4
  • Butter lightly a baking dish and layer in order:

  • - sausage & sauerkraut - veggies - mash potatoes - top with cheese
  • Step 6
  • Broil till cheese is browning.
  • Step 7
