  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 4 smoked Italian sausages
  • 3 cup passata
  • 1 1/2 cup spinach
  • 1 bunch basil
  • 1 parmesan cheese
  • 1 crushed chilies (ootional)
  • 1 sea salt
  • 1 fresh cracked pepper

How to Make Sausage and Turkey Tri-Coloured Pasta

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 9 steps you must follow to make Sausage and Turkey Tri-Coloured Pasta in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Heat oil in pan and add shallots - sweat for 2 minutes. Add minced garlic sweat for additional 2 minutes on medium-high heat
  • Step 2
  • Brown the ground turkey and add Italian seasoning to meat for flavouring (approximately 7 minutes)
  • Step 3
  • Cook pasta in a pot of salted water with olive oil per package directions
  • Step 4
  • Add sausages to ground turkey and heat for 2 to 3 minutes
  • Step 5
  • While meat mixture is heating through, chifinade spinach and basil before adding to sauce
  • Step 6
  • Add passata to meat to build sauce and simmer for 10 - 12 minutes.
  • Step 7
  • Drain cooked pasta and run under cold water to stop cooking process
  • Step 8
  • Add pasta to sauce, toss and add salt, pepper, Parmesan cheese and chilies to taste
  • Step 9
  • Serve and enjoy
