  • 1 lb cooked and drained ground beef (can use turkey also)
  • 2 can Pinto beans
  • 1 can red kidney beans
  • 1 can chili beans
  • 1 can Sweet kernel corn
  • 1 large chopped onion
  • 1 chopped zucchini
  • 2 clove garlic
  • 2 1/2 tbsp red chili powder
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 cup water
  • 1 can diced tomatoes

How to Make Savory Red Chili

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Savory Red Chili in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Combine water, flour and whisk. Poor into crock pot. This thickens chili. Turn on low heat.
  • Step 2
  • Add your cooked beef, cans of beans and corn.
  • Step 3
  • In a skillet saute onions, garlic and zucchini in olive oil until tender.
  • Step 4
  • Add onions and zucchini to crock pot. Add tomatoes, chili powder and salt.
  • Step 5
  • Cook on low heat for 3 hours or high heat 2 hours. (Stove top method can be used. 1 hour on med-low heat )
